Kittiyaphon Wattana Shot Dead on Way to School in Trang, February 23, 2015
Kittiyaphon Wattana, 18, was shot dead while riding to school with her younger brother in Trang province, Thailand, on February 23, 2015. The shooting occurred at about 7:20 a.m. on Trang-Nam Phut Road in Nam Phut subdistrict. Wattana, a Mathayom 5 student at Wat Khuan Wiset Munlanit School, was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by her 15-year-old brother, Atithep Wattana. A man wearing a black jacket and helmet rode alongside them on another motorcycle and shot her once in the head at close range with a .38-caliber weapon. She fell into brush beside the road. Her brother said he did not recognize the gunman and did not know why his sister had been attacked. · |

Sad, but at least this time the victim wasn't just left where they died, she was moved to the woods.
