Killed By 12 Gauge Shotgun

Two people of the same family were murdered at home in the early hours of Sunday 24th August around 3:30 am, at Rua Mauricio Amancio, Brazil. The victims were 45 and 20yo, father and son-in-law.

The crime was committed by at least four masked gunmen with handguns and rifles. According to the victim's wife (who was in the bed also at the time), the killers asked for her to get out of bed and take their three-year-old daughter out of the house. After that, the woman says she heard gunshots and when she returned to the room she found her husband dead with several gunshots and one 12 gauge shotgun to the head.

That morning, another person identified as "Porky", was also killed by the group. I assume this is the 20yo but no images found of him.

Police still do not know what or who motivated and committed the double murder, but said that the first witnesses indicated that the older man was a hardworking person and had no enemies. He was the father of two brothers who were shot dead last month. Therefore, there is suspicion that he was killed simply for being father of the boys. Also according to police data, the brothers had involvement with narcotics in the community.The crime may be related to drug trafficking.

Along with these two deaths, four people in total were murdered in just over 24 hours in the city. All crimes will be investigated by the Regional Police Department.
