Re: Kenneka Jenkins
During different stages of hypothermia people's minds make them do odd things. For example if you were to go over board into freezing water but then reach land, if it is -20 degrees below 0 outside of the water but the water is 32 degrees above 0, sometimes a survivor will go back into the water. The brain can tell it's owner anything at the final stages.. even when sober. The point is that even without the added alcohol element I really don't see anything out of wack with this simply being a terrible accident. |

Re: Kenneka Jenkins
This was an accident, that turned into a tragedy when the hotel wouldn’t review the security footage upon the mother’s pleading during the early AM hours soon after the girl disappeared. Instead the tapes weren’t reviewed until the police insisted late in the afternoon, and once she was already deceased. She probably wouldn’t have froze to death had they been able to follow her tracks via the security footage and find her within a few hours. Negligence on the hotel’s part. Sad, horrendous situation.

Re: Kenneka Jenkins
Exactly so. I was once invited to his home by a European professor with whom I was studying at the time. I though it appropriate to bring a bottle of wine. However, not being a connoisseur I had no idea what to choose. His 11 year old daughter accompanied me to a liquor store and told me what to buy.
