The text messages are between the killer and a friend. The friend asked him if he did it because of a girl and he said that the guy he killed is a rat. “Looks me in the eye saying one thing, goes behind my back and does something else”. Then the friend says “Yeah but you don’t go killing the guy” and the killer texted him back saying “i just stick to my word.” At some point he also says he called the cops on himself and he’ll be going away for a while but hopefully they will reconnect when he gets free.
