Man, these are really powerful. I think because most of them are still fresh enough, and familiar (American) enough that you can still imagine them alive and walking amongst us. These are the people you pass by at the gas station. Every single one of them holds a story that will likely never be heard, like a passerby who you never see or think of again. I can disconnect from a lot of the gore photos, but for some reason I find myself deeply disturbed by these. Thank you for sharing.

I went over to Namus and looked at the missing persons section. My former next door neighbor was on there - she's been missing for 10 years.
