Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
This time a post from page 74 and a couple more photos to add. The second image is of particular interest as it shows Dubos' car.

Change this to Oulton Park and you got it..... there is even footage of it on a popular video sharing website. Typical Senna move frankly, let me through or we'll crash. Bully. |

Mexican Moises Solana was a very skilled racing driver but he decided to race mainly in South America. He took part in eight GP, six of them in Mexico and put in some very good performances. He qualified 7th for the 1967 US GP in a Lotus. These images are very rare showing the aftermath of his fatal crash while competing in the Valle de Bravo hill-climb in 1969 driving a McLaren M6B. He lost control and crashed heavily. |

Thanks The Dark. It what stops me regarding Senna in any way as the Best Racing Driver Ever. Great driver, but badly flawed. He didn't have the class of a Clark, Moss, Fangio, Mears, Petty etc. |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Dan Wheldon Here is video that shows his impact, unlike most of the videos that you see online that do not show it The other problem is that most people make the mistake of thinking that Will Powers car is Dan Wheldons This video points out Wheldons car so you can see the brutality of this horrific crash Dan Wheldon should still be alive today because the track in Vegas is super small and to run 32 cars at 220mph is just asking for trouble Unfortunately the cost of asking for that trouble was the life of a great driver RIP Dan I also have some very nice Close Up HQ pics I will post first while the video is converting |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Günter Klass crashed fatally on Saturday 22nd July 1967 on the then 66km long road course Circuito del Mugello during practice. The Ferrari Dino 206SP left the road on the downhill section from Giogo Pass to Firenzuola and burst into flames when it hit a tree on the driver's side. Klass was trapped behind the steering wheel and suffered fatal chest and internal injuries. He was dragged from the wreck but his injuries must have been terrible.
