Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
These are the shocking images of Italian sportcar driver Mauro Bianchi's crash during the 1968 Le Mans 24 hours driving a Matra A220, he punctured a tyre on debris from an earlier accident. He was pulled from the burning wreck with nasty burns but made a recovery from them. |

Rare photo's of Frenchman Henri Pescarolo's horrible crash on the Mulsanne Straight in testing for the 1969 Le Mans 24 hours in a Matra 640. Travelling at around 250 kmh down the straight the car took off landing in trees and exploding, somehow Henri pulled himself out of the wreck suffering nasty burns and still bares the scars. |

About 20 pages back I was going to post a bunch of Newspaper clippings of Gordon Smiley and pictures that were taken by AP and other photographers that we have never seen in the original format, just Newspaper quality (which sucks I only posted a couple of them, so here are some more, some amazing rare pictures that I dream about having as originals (or just picture quality) |

Windowlicker, that 3rd pic with Michelin Man running for his life might just be the symbol of De Crasheris' career! He was also unlucky not to win Spa 1991 as he closed on the faltering Senna only to blow the engine with 3 laps to go. This race is somewhat more well known for the debut of Michael Schumacher. |

Found a large good quality picture of Alex Zanardi when you can see some leg gore flying through the air Its kind of like the Don McTavish photos only in high quality instead of grainy black and white newspaper print |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Its crazy how I can be looking for something and come across random single pictures that are just awesome I have to post some of them as they cant be ignored Riverside track workers run for their lives (if you look closely the one in the white shirt just got hit in the arm by some wreckage shrapnel) when Sam Posey's brakes fail and he crashes into Ron Courtney's stalled car |
