Is that stuff new here? I did some research and couldn't find it, but it's true that there is so many posts...

This young Indian couple (she 18 he 19 yo) decided to commit suicide together because their families refused them to marry.

They asked a friend to drive them with a moto to a place in the country and killed themselves there.

Family first was convinced it was a murder but seems that some elements were obvious enough to close the case as a suicide. The article says both had gun powder on their hands, also the man had a burned spot in the side of his head compatible with a suicide by gun and the girl mouth shot was incompatible with a murder. Also the girl still has the gun in her hand, visible in the picture.

From what I could find in some translated Indian news : the man took a gun he bought some month before and first shot himself in the left side of head. Then, she took the gun, kneeled by the dead man and finally shot herself in the mouth. It explains the weird position of her body after death (kind of still kneeling but fell frontward after dying). For sure some experts here can confirm if it matches with the suicide version.

Honnestly if it's really a suicide and if it happened like this (at least it's the official version), she had "big balls" to look at her bf committing suicide, then grab the gun from the hand of his dead body and then ending it all by shooting herself in the mouth, rather than just running away.

Japanese ladies that were wives of samurai warriors used to tie their legs (rope around their laps and calfs when kneeling) before slitting their throats so that they would not end up in an "undignified" pose like this one.

That's crazy, didn't know this
But makes sense and in this case it's clearly what happened. She kneeled, shot herself and fell face down, still kneeling, the butt up

Oh, I didn't even mean it like that, it was just a side information lol.

But the position of the girl on your post (which is great BTW ) doesn't seem odd to me. Gunshots to the head can lead to a wide array of final poses for the body, as the person is often dead before even hitting the ground. There may be some tonus left, but often they just remain as they fell provided gravity allows it
