Most societies that face huge loss of life due to disease and famine tend to have large families. If you look back through the history of europe and america family sizes were much bigger during these times. It is an attempt to survive as a people, but it also is the cause of the high fatality rate due to lack of resources....just a minute i need to climb down from my soapbox... |

Very true but by stopping more being brought into the world in such conditions it will help rectify the problem, once their is a happy medium the cycle can once again begin, adding to the problem everyday isn't going to help resources |
