Hooker Hangs It Up
A 24 year old 'commercial sex worker' (known colloquially as a Karaoke Guide) was found hanging in her apartment this week. She had gone out for a chicken dinner with a friend about 3 hours earlier and told the friend she wanted to take a nap and to wake her up in time for her side job at a salon. When the friend showed up, he had to beat down the door and she was found hanging and dead, her feet about 15 centimeters off the floor. Forensics indicated that she had been dead less than 2 hours and that rigor was not yet set. There was some concern (as there always is in Indo social media) that she had been murdered and staged as a hanging because her tongue was not protruding as is often seen in suspension hangings. The report commented that it was unusual, as a protruding tongue would be expected with the noose in this position, but that there were no external signs of violence on her body or in the room. Further, they noted the presence of saliva and mucus dripping from her nose and mouth onto her shirt, as well the presence of urine in her panties, both of which corroborate the suicidal hanging narrative. A 'suicide note' in the form of text messages was also discovered on her phone a bit later, though a formal cause of death is still pending autopsy.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
