Re: A Grand Day Out

According to Einstein's theory of special relativity, published in 1905, nothing can exceed the speed of light. That speed, explained Einstein, is a fundamental constant of nature: It appears the same to all observers anywhere in space.
The same theory says that objects gain mass as they speed up, and that speeding up requires energy. The more mass, the more energy is required. By the time an object reached the speed of light, Einstein calculated, its mass would be infinite, and so would the amount of energy required to increase its speed. To go beyond the infinite is impossible.
One hundred years of testing have only reinforced what Einstein wrote, said Donald Schneider, professor of astronomy and astrophysics at Penn State.

waiting for an apology and removal your picture of einstein
eek, you copied this off the Net, or out of a book, cuz it's written using an entirely different structure of English than you normally use. Yes, nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. But I don't know why you called me wrong, cuz I NEVER said anything could travel faster than the speed of light. I've known these facts since high school, my friend. I've also known that the concept of the universality of the speed of light was NOT discovered by Einstein, but by the English physicist, James Clerk Maxwell, in his treatise on the theoretial behavior of electromagnetic waves. Thus from his study, and embedded inside his equaltions, the universality of the speed of light was discovered. Einstein used this in his Special Theory of Relativity (actually, it was a paper on the behavior of electric particles, entitled, Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies, published 1905).

Hey, eek, I thought I let you know, I didn't cut and past this info off the Internet. It came from inside my skull, friend!

Really!?! That's the best you could come up with? Grammatical errors aside, you're doing nothing more than proving to everyone here that you're an idiot! You're a fucking troll piece of shit and you should kill yourself.

Dude, don't waste your time explaining physics to a person who struggles when constructing a sentence properly. You should just be proud of eek for figuring out how to cut and paste shit from Wikipedia and leave him to root in his own ignorance for awhile.
