Girl Shot Down on Sidewalk
Story was a little confusing here, but I think I have the gist of it. This 18 year old girl was walking with a female friend when a man (possibly two men) on a motorbike came by and shot them both several times. The friend was rushed to the ER and survived, but this girl obviously did not. It was discovered later on, through 'unofficial channels' that the dead girl used to date a criminal who was killed in a shootout with the police some weeks ago. She had recently gotten her high school equivalency and was less than a week away from moving to another state to join her mother and brothers.
