Girl Burned as a Sacrifice to the Gods
While many people have started to learn to think rationally and realistically, there are still some people who don't. According to the Commission on Human Rights Asia received from a Media Center Jaragan NGO based in Nepal that a young girl named Manisha Harijan 8 years old was found dead the morning of December 4, 2009, after previously disappearing. A local businessman named Birendra Jayasawal and 4 people have been arrested by local police as citizens suspected their gestures. According to the police investigation said they were finally admitted to having done the ritual burning the girl in a brick-burning stove as an effort to plead with the gods they worship in order to give the smooth business and prosperity of life. The victim's name: Manisha Harijan, 8 years old, permanent residents Maryadpur Village Development Committee (VDC) - Rupandehi District, Nepal Name of suspect: Birendra Jayasawal, Maryadpur Village Development Committee (VDC) - Rupandehi District, Nepal Date of event: December 4, 2009 (2066/7/21 according to Nepali calendar) The scene: Maryadpur VDC, Rupandehi District. Very touching point. But be aware, hundreds upon hundreds of people every year from around the world, children included, are tortured and murdered as a result of race. Human sacrifice, on the level you've well-documented here, is an extremely rare occurrence especially if it involved a child. Most likely, the perps you've described weren't following any type of mainstream tradition or religion, but where most likely some type of cult, lead by a disturbed fanatic, similar to a Charles Manson or a Jim Jones.  |
