Re: Fat Asian Woman Shot & Killed During Robbery
is that really shotgun wound? somehow, i think it would have been bigger at close range and if from a distant, it would have been more scattered. if i am any good at guessing, i would have said that looks like a full clip of a caliber range from .22 to .380 emptied into her tummy at close range. Perhaps a robber who sidled up to her, pressed the gun in her tummy and said " gimme all your pennies or i kill you", woman says "eeehhhhhhh, slap slap slap!", then robber goes bang, bang, bang...

Re: Fat Asian Woman Shot & Killed During Robbery
00 (double ought) buckshot pellets are about .32 inch in diameter IIRC. There are 9 buckshot pellets of 00 buck in a 12 gauge shotgun shell. Shotgun pellet patterns don't spread / open up as quickly as you might expect. This look like a short range shotgun wound from buckshot.

Re: Fat Asian Woman Shot & Killed During Robbery
Now i know. how far does it go before spreading out? I seemed to envision the two stupid ideas i have that if its closer, there would be powder burns or bigger entry. and if its a meter away to prevent burns, the pellets would have spread more than that. Thanks. |
