On Tuesday 15th december in rural Brazil, a 50yo farmer's wife was shot in the abdomen and killed.

Her husband (pictured) stated how as he was feeding their grandson porridge at 01:30am (they were looking after their two grandsons), all the power suddenly cut out. His wife went to check what was going on and as she opened the door, she was shot in the abdomen.

Their neighbour called for help but she died before the emergency services arrived.

Their son-in-law was suspected to be the perpetrator along with the assistance of someone else.

The victim's husband suspects the former son-in-law for the act, for the revenge of her having the custody of his 2 year-old kid, that's how I understood it
