Dutch Criminal Shot in Amsterdam
AMSTERDAM - The shooting in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, in which a 33-year-old man was shot dead in the night from Saturday to Sunday, was accompanied by "a certain recklessness". Bullet impacts were found in the houses behind them on the Kleiburg. A resident tells that one of the bullets went straight through his home. He was in the living room at that time. "It happened about 2 meters away from me," he tells the Amsterdam channel. The police spokesman cannot confirm this specific story, but says it does not surprise him. A temporary police post has been set up on location for local residents with concerns. As far as is known, no neighbors were injured. The 33-year-old Amsterdam Inchomar Balentien, a well-known from the police, was killed. The police have a strong suspicion that the shooting was a targeted action. The shooting took place at the Kraaiennest metro station. Just before midnight, according to the police, several people were standing in a parking lot near the metro station. After a black Renault Megane arrived, several shots were fired, killing the 33-year-old Balentien. The other attendees fled. A burnt out vehicle was found a few kilometers away, at the Gaasperplas. A man, who wants to remain anonymous, saw a man flee after he was shot in the leg. "A black Renault Mégane went after him. He was then shot from close by two or three times." I had to find cover under the car. " Whether this was related to the shooting incident is still being investigated. Earlier this year, according to Het Parool, Balentien was acquitted of being involved in the murder of Surinamese criminal Johannes Kastiel in 2008 in an elevator in the Gooioord apartment in Southeast. OM could not prove that it was he who had wanted to rob Kastiel of 35,000 euros. The OM had demanded ten years in jail against him. In 2013, Balentien survived a murder attempt, in which bursts were fired at him from an automatic weapon, according to Het Parool. A family member tells that Balentien had been thinking for some time that something would happen. "But he really was a closed person. He kept everything to himself. Sometimes he said something like" with God's will and that, "but coincidentally he said three months ago that he felt that he had to be extra alert " ETA The video is from a friend of his, right after the shooting, its on his instagram page. Not a real blood and guts situation still quite bizarre. ( sorry for the rough translation + spelling errors, google translate can be a B sometimes ) |

Quick translation: He's talking that the guy on the floor was shot in his head, that he's dead like the pavement he's on. They are cussing out the car the shooter was in. They are mostly shocked. |
