Excellent question. The following taken from http://www.egyptologyonline.com/tutankhamun.htm Tutankhamun had a very elongated (dolichocephalic) skull. The cranial sutures are not prematurely fused, so this is most likely due to normal anthropological variation rather than any pathology. |

myleperfriend . Royalboy, good post. My favorite ancient culture is by the the ancient Egyptians. Tutankhamun is one of the most studied and well recorded Pharoahs, and of course is my personal favorite. I hope you do not mind my addition to your thread. it's amazing the way they had pyramids built for the day they would die, and the fact that they put the body in there, to be preserved for thousands of years.. It really is amazing. But I think it sucks (for them) in a way, because it could have been preserved even after 'our civilization' has long been gone. Now he is an attraction for the current generation, lol :( |
