Well I can confirm the family was Muslim, but beyond that I have no idea what their story was. Honestly it reminds me of the bag of jew gold from South Park

Anyone got any solid idea of what the pouch is for? I'd be interested to know. To me it looks like a suicide for sure and the marks on his chin and cheek maybe point towards his last movements. Death rattle, so to speak.

Unless someone forced him to hang himself at gun point, he had the knot tied on the right side of his neck and it sort of got loose there, causing the absent bruising and the expanding bruise thickness as the rope stretched upwards.

There were more pictures and as far as I could tell this is not the country of our residence, but whatever country they came from. Still sad. Makes you wonder what drove that guy to it. He's old enough to be a father and probably had kids.
