Re: Death By Morbid Obesity
Poverty, undiagnosed psychological disorders, like clinical depression can help get someone to the point. There's many other psychological, neurological, and physical disorders that can contribute to morbid obesity, to! There's enviromental reasons, genealogical reasons, even the way one is raised. A sudden traumatic event can scar someone so bad that they might become hoarders AND morbidly obese to boot! There are prescribed drugs that can cause a lot of problems and actually encourage the growth of fat cells, exponentially. You'd be very surprised at some of the negative side effects of man-made drugs on the human body! My eldest sister is a physical therapist and she works with morbidly obese patients. It's a very sad state they end up in, and by the time they're that big, many of them only wish to die and end their suffering. They've had so much trauma and pain throughout their lives - which has contributed to their obesity - that they just give up. |
