23-year-old model and forensic medical student from Ecuador, Andrea N.P.A., was killed when the car in which she was a passenger crashed into a ravine. She was the passenger of an expensive Cadillac driven by a neighbour, Jhosue M.C., who remains in hospital in serious condition.

Image came with two types of watermark - I was able to mostly remove one, but apologies for any traces that remain.

This isn't necessarily a great value add, but it is another image of her body under a sheet with all of her jewelry removed and laid out. Can't make out a lot of detail but it is clearly her. Adding it for completion sake. I found at least 3 other images from the scene, but all are blurred beyond use. Will add if I source clearer pics.

Also, there is a lot of kerfuffle going on across social media that the boyfriend (who suffered injuries but is stable) was abusive and evil and she'd been trying to leave him for some time. Many are floating the idea that he strangled her and then wrecked the car for an insurance payment (it was a $250K Caddy down there) and to hide the murder, taking precautions to make sure he only suffered a few injuries while hopefully masking her injuries as part of the wreck.

Hard telling, but enough of them are yelling about it that the cops are looking. Her dad was also a regional judge, which is drawing additional attention.

Keep an eye on the case if you want. If it gets any bigger or more interesting, she probable deserves her own thread as opposed to being buried in this one.

In Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, a 37-year-old school security guard, Wanessa S., committed suicide by shooting herself inside a school bathroom.

The bodies of two women, as yet unidentified, were dumped out of a pickup truck and left in the road in Guerrero. Both of them had been asphyxiated via makeshift garrote and the blocks of wood and cords used to strangle them were still around their necks.

This happened back in late February in Tabasco state, Mexico, but I only came across it today.

A man, identified as Carlos Armando "N", "enraged and blinded by jealousy", murdered his wife, Laura (around 40 years old), with a machete in their residence in Teapa, in front of their daughter (aged either 4, 5, or 7, depending on your source). Carlos was arrested whilst sleeping next to his traumatized daughter.

A few reports claimed that Carlos regularly raped his wife and daughter. His trial began in March.

In Santa Elena, Ecuador, a merchant, Laidy J.G.R., was shot dead, supposedly after refusing to pay an extortion fee of $3 to hitmen.

I've been searching for the last few days but as usual with Ecuadorian content these days, I failed to find much of the material without watermarks - or, indeed, any antemortems at all - so dumping it here instead. Having said that, the second video is fairly decent.

EDIT I was able to trace down a few more antemortems after seeing the reply below. Turns out she also went by "Lady", hence I didn't find these first time.
