I'm not being flippant. I understand that 'whore' is a pejorative when used to reference your mother or your girlfriend or your cunt of a boss. I just didn't expect any blowback when using it to refer to a woman who worked in a brothel and was killed by a sleazy, ex-con john that she insulted. Maybe it is cultural. Or maybe I'm just a prick.
