Except I didn't, I made it pretty clear in the OP that I didn't have much information and that the claims were made by an anonymous source and were tenuous at best.

A seal team or sf-oda would have their own 18d medical sgt as part of their team, marine recon uses navy corpsman trained as recon,and while rangers would have a combat medic attached to them they're more of a specialized fighting/security/recon/personnel-recovery force and wouldn't be doing some shit like this. The exif data also shows they were taken in June 2003, way before the Syrian uprising took place.
