A man and his 14 year old step-daughter were gunned down inside his pickup truck this weekend. Neither survived.

Despite my facetious play on the title, the girl's mother was actually present for the attack. Later information determined, in fact, that the mother was the target. It was a vengeance-motivated hit because the mother's brother had been implicated in the deaths of two people back in 2013. The assassins were targeting her, but she was only critically injured while her teenage daughter and husband were murdered. This sort of bullshit is why the ever popular 'eye for an eye' system of 'justice' is best left many centuries in our checkered past.

A lot of times it's easier for the driver that way,don't ask me why,it just is,,,for one thing,that person in the middle won't lose they're balance so easy on roads with many tight turns..

In my experience when 3 people are crammed in a small truck it is really hard to shift gears if her legs were on her mother's side. Putting the smaller passanger in the middle also helps.
