Interestin fact. I used to work in one back when I was a teen. A family member owned the business, so I got a job real easy.

Re: The Cremation Process

Sharon
Thanks for this great post.
I would also like to thank you for helping me to decide to be cremated.
this post and some others I have seen here and some of your insight you have given in other posts help make it all clear to me thank you.
I have spoken to my family and they know my whishes.
They had a little trouble with it at first then I just told them look I do not want my corpse buried under six feet of Michigan swamp soaking in water untill I rot away.
Pretty graphic I know but also pretty accurate for around here.

Re: The Cremation Process

Still on the fence about it, but i know for sure i wouldn't wanna be buried, that seems a bit strange to me. If i was cremated i wouldn't wanna be KEPT by someone in an urn on a shelf. Scatter me in the vip lounge of a strip club.

Re: The Cremation Process

Sadly,my Husband chooses too keep his Mother in his closet(I don't know why) She was cremated, I keep saying let's get A nice urn for her, but he don't listen!!^^^^ And I'm with ya on that Kandystar!!
Aw just go ahead and buy one, put her in there, and do it like that. Don't say anything about it, just do it. For lord's sake I don't want to be in the closet! loll

Re: The Cremation Process

Basic knowledge about cremation proves all documented 'facts' about the burning of bodies during the Holocaust wrong. Even this thread.
I spent two weeks in a crematorium as part of my funerary work experience. Please elaborate on what is wrong here and from the Holocaust's documentation?
