KUALA LUMPUR, A Bangladeshi man was killed when a structure of an apartment building under construction in Bukit Jalil here collapsed today. The victim identified only as Anisur, 24, who was working on the 17th floor, died on the spot upon being crushed by the rubble. The incident occurred about 5pm. Bukit Jalil Fire and Rescue Department chief, Jalailudin Abdul Mubin said the incident occurred when the scaffolding at the construction site suddenly collapsed, crushing the victim to death. “No other workers were injured...the body was brought out from the site at 6.35pm before being sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre,” he said when contacted here. Well, shoot! There I was thinking it must've happened so quickly that he didn't feel anything... until I got to the pic of his mouth agape in horror. Maybe it was one of those slow crushes, not instantaneous. The slow crushes give you a real bad headache and then POP!
