Thats really all there is to it. You dont refer to somebody as "cocksucker" even though they suck cock, and its probably because they wouldn't like it. Asking people not to call you a certain word is probably one of the most non-intrusive requests imaginable, specifically because we practice such on a daily basis anyway. And the "im not a liar" argument i often hear really isn't valid either. When a small child asks you if Santa is real, you lie and say yes. When your depressed friend is suicidal, you lie and say life gets better. I feel like, there is some common factor among trans people which is the cause for such major disrespect, but I cant quite put my finger on it. |

Oh god, that video of him running up to his dead wife in the car and screaming broke me. I just lost my fiance a few weeks ago, not in a violent or sudden manner, & the grief is crippling. Make fun of me if you want but that man lost His Person and he's clearly heartbroken. Who gives a fuck about gender? They weren't hurting anyone, just living their lives. This is sad any way you look at it.  |
