Re: Car Drives Off 5th Floor Parking Garage, Kills Two Occupants
Going over the little kerb at the back of the parking space they backed through is plenty enough to tear out transmission cooler lines in an automatic car and maybe even the bottom of the radiator where the transmission cooler is often located. Plus being upside down is enough to allow power steering fluid (in a lot of cars the same as automatic transmission fluid), brake fluid and even engine oil to leak out. Transmission fluid can also leak out past the transmission dipstick when the car is upside down. It does, however, look like blood splatter on the inside of the windscreen/windshield of the car so there probably was some blood mixed in, but I suspect it's mainly coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, engine oil and brake fluid. As the transmission fluid, power steering fluid, engine oil and brake fluid are all oil-based products and the coolant is largely water, I strongly suspect it is the oil and water mixing that is giving it the congealed appearance...

Re: Car Drives Off 5th Floor Parking Garage, Kills Two Occupants
Huh. Crashed over a tire bump stop & over a concrete barrier with all four wheels. I'm not seeing expected damage to the rear of the car & not even a scratch to the undercarriage, save for a ding to the bottom of the muffler. I suppose they rocketed overboard. They failed to properly execute an Evil Knievel jump.
