Huh, sounds possible. It appears as if the valiums were dissolved in water as per the looks of that cup. Roses are red Valium are blue, looks like the hubby did it and they have no clue.

No kidding. I have a friend who turned into a junkie over the last couple years and he has seen other addicts shoot up to 9 bags of heroin mixed with two bags of coke all in one shot!  He has witnessed a few of them dying from it too. |

Valium is not lethal though. Even 120 of them. I think she either took something else or was suffocated in her sleep, accidentally or on purpose. Of all the ways to go,this was one the more peaceful ways either way.

It takes quite a bit to cause a fatal overdose (just Valium alone). National Security Advisor Robert Mcfarlane tried to take his life by taking 30 Valium tablets and survived with no side effects. In his book "Unnatural Death, Confessions of Medical Examiner", Dr. Michael Baden states that it is surprisingly difficult to overdose on tranquilizers and Mcfarlane would have had needed to take at least 200 pills to kill himself. When Mcfalane was taken to the hospital, the doctors didn't bother to pump his stomach, they just let him sleep it off. Now, had he mixed the pills with alcohol,barbiturates and/or opioids... Awesome odds. Which is what I believe is what happened in this case... |
