That's true, it could have worn off. But I figure it couldn't have been that long because he hung himself in a dormitory/shared room and so someone would have smelled or seen the body before then.

I also thought his body might look darker purple or more bloated if he was hanging for a longer time.

That's possible too. I just figured with so many death photos in this set, there would have been at least one photo before they straightened him out. I have seen some large sets from Cambodia and Thailand with people stuck in rigor mortis, they are fascinating photos.

Meh, I dated (and recently got my heart horribly broken by) a man who had sometimes dealt with deceased people on the job. He's smelled decomposition and seen the colours dead people turn into (specifically, orange, but "not like Trump"). According to him, he still had almost daily suicidal thoughts. He broke up with me partly because of his mental issues. I really wish he would seek help and come back to me, because I've been plunged into deep depression by him leaving me. Guess it's why I'm on this site right now: to look at unfortunate souls who've had it worse than me.

And as an aside, I have the Russian keyboard on my computer and phone.
