This story made me look up another well known John Doe aka "the Grateful Doe" who died after a Grateful Dead concert in a car accident. A woman reported her son, Jason Callahan, missing on January 13, 2015 claiming she hasn't heard from her son since he went missing June of 95, the same time the "Grateful Doe" was found. The pictures of Callahan strongly resemble the face molds made of the of the unidentified man. DNA tests are pending now, and everyone seems pretty positive it is him. |

All I can say is that if my 16 year-old daughter was missing for even two hours, I would go batshit crazy trying to find her or until I knew she was safe. Some family!

The first step to solving just about any murder is to identify the victim. I hope that detectives are able to start from this one piece of information to eventually catch the asshole who killed this poor, young woman.  |

These posts are amoung the best on DR. Not only are they interesting, but they actually have a purpose. You never know when someone will be identified. It may take 50 years, but sometimes it still happens. Thank you, Shadowkeeper! |

Finally, some good news for a change. I always feel somehow relieved when JD's have been identified. At least now she belongs to someone and hopefully rest peacefully. Thanks to whoever updated this thread!
