It's our pride that makes us think nothing "bad" will happen to "us/ourselves!" Surely, she knew the dangers of texting whilst operating a motor vehicle, yet again, pride precludes us of awareness of our own mortality....even when imminent!

Jesus. So sad and stupid. I don't understand why people use their phone behind the wheel. I don't even dare to look at my phone when i'm on my bike, or even when i walk on a sidewalk. Trust me, whatever you do on your phone, it can wait.
