Brazil - Teenage Girl Shot Dead by Her Older Boyfriend
On 13th April 2022 in Ariquemes (Brazil), V.L.d.S. was murdered. The teenager was killed with a gunshot to the face. Her 22 year old boyfriend, G.W.V.C., confessed to the crime. However initially, he had claimed that an armed man had broken into his home with the intention to rob the place + shot the girl. The police were suspicious with his statement + finally got a confession out of him.

Correlation does not equal causation (though in most nations of the world it’s illegal hate speech to even speak of noticing such correlation, so it’s unlikely we’re going to get much in the way of good data and robust public discussion.) I think the story here though is much simpler: she wanted a violent ‘bad boy’ and she got one… |
