I came across that yesterday from sites that were reporting her drug smuggling in the airport. I wasn't even sure if it was actually her or someone else, the difference is insane!

Anything to look "whiter". This is common in countries with genetic mixes, from South America to Asia and Africa. I am particularly familiar with the Philippines where the lighter skinned girls are prized over the darker. One might hope that this way of thinking would have waned with the close of the colonial era, but this does not appear to be the case.

I'm kind of amazed you don't all realize how much the blonde social media pics are manipulated. They aren't meant to be realistic portraits. Blue contact lenses are used too; in real life the pupils look too fixed and result in a reptilian effect. It is all about who can produce the "best" image out of all their "friends".
