Likely because she was autopsied, after which the organs are placed back it the chest cavity in a (garbage) bag typically. Combined with any effort to keep the breast from being sagged to the sides, probably added to the look.

After & before

There is actually a lot of irony behind this picture. The woman in the photo is L.F., a 21 year old Pennsylvania woman who died from a heroin overdose in December 2018. Roughly 10 months before her death and the photo of her in the casket was taken, she was at her grandmother's funeral wearing the same clothes, and that's where she got a funeral photo taken of herself with her dead grandmother in a casket. Talk about foreshadowing.

I've had this photo together with a few others I had planned to post as a second addition to the opioid thread posted awhile back, but it would also fit in the funeral selfies thread too.
