BERN, Switzerland — A bear has attacked a man who entered its enclosure at a new park in Switzerland, and a policeman opened fire on the animal to defend the intruder.

Police say the 25-year-old man and the 3-year-old bear both were injured on Saturday at Bear Park in the city of Bern. The small park, which opened last month, provides two bears with hill slopes, grasslands, a river and a cave.

Police say the mentally handicapped man climbed onto a wall surrounding the park and fell 13 feet into the bears' enclosure. One of the bears responded by attacking the man, injuring his head and one leg.

A nearby policeman shot at the bear, injuring it and forcing it to retreat into the cave.

The bear was being treated at the park and the man at a nearby hospital.

A young man deliberately climbed over a protection fence into a bear enclosure in Berne, Switzerland, where he was immediately attacked by a bear, named “Finn”.
By-passes yelled and screamed at the bear and threw branches and stones to drive him away from the man. A policeman eventually shot the bear with a machine gun down to save the man’s live.

They don’t know whether the bear will survive or not.
The man is severely injured but alive.

The man is mentally disabled and approched the bear directly.

I remember a case with a woman, who jumped into a polar bear enclosure in a Berlin zoo.

I say 'poor fuckin bear'. He only got shot in the first place because that asshole jumped into the enclosure. Bears are pretty territorial...only takes a fool to challenge that. So why didn't they put one in THIS DOUCHE BAG's head? It's the best way to spare the gene pool in the off chance this guy ends up reproducing. People suck...just watch and they'll show you.

The part that captured me was that the Park had only been open one month. Lmao helluva opening special crowd grabber! I'd pay to see that, hell i'd travel to go see that. Yeah, yeah, dude was simple and all.. but fk.. i can't lie.. i'd STILL travel and pay to see some retard throw himself in a bear enclosure. *laughs* ;)
