Barbaric Act....The Victims of Ambush-massacre in La Castellana, ****** Occidental on
THE Police Regional Office (PRO-6) denounced the January 27 massacre of eight civilians and a neophyte cop in La Castellana, ****** Occidental. C/Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr., PRO-6 director, said the ambush mounted by suspected New People’s Army (NPA) members is the “highest form of brutality and violations against human rights.” Citing eyewitness accounts, Cruz said the suspects “finished off” the fatalities even if they were pleading for their lives. Even those who died in the initial volley of gunfire were shot again by the suspects, he added. The dead included PO1 Richard Canja of La Castellana PNP, Ricky Dingcong, Lito Lucban, Jonathan Mateo, Virginia Ordoñez, Timo Esplecera, Mario Recablanca, Ramer Compleza, and Ulysis Tamayor. PO3 Constantino Villegas, PO2 Jeffrey Alvarez, Jerry Letido, Cristitoto Perolino, Jason Opismar, Jemly Roma, Antonio Tornia, and Roger Bejar survived the ambush and are now recuperating in the hospital. Cruz also called on the Commission on Human Rights (CHR0 and non-government organizations advocating for human rights protection to help the police and the military in the investigation against the suspects. The NPA in ****** Occidental has yet to issue a formal statement on the ambush. -according to source |

Re: Barbaric Act....The Victims of Ambush-massacre in La Castellana, ****** Occidental on
This is why what we in the USA consider to be rational communication and political negotiating will not work. Many of these people in many nations throughout Asia, the Middle East, and South America have little or no regard for human life. I have witnessed it first hand on all the different continents I have “visited”, no matter how you count them. (For arguments sake let us agree, I have never been to Antarctica)

Re: Barbaric Act....The Victims of Ambush-massacre in La Castellana, ****** Occidental on
not siding with the leftist mind you, but sometimes we need to see what is the dead people's position in the incident. NPA along the ****** and visayas region in philippines are not known to kill innocent civilian or military personnel randomly. Usually they kill civilians and military who have done the masses bad things but are untouchables by the legal courts. so those offended by these goes to NPA for justice and the NPA takes the justice in their hands because the government sides with those more influential and rich ones... even if these rich guys were the offenders...

Re: Barbaric Act....The Victims of Ambush-massacre in La Castellana, ****** Occidental on
i know its not good to take justice into our hands but sometimes, the law catches up to the crooks too slowly in the Philippines that so many were already dead and hurt and damaged before the law gets to prosecuting the offenders and about 90%, the offenders get loose with minor fines and just goes out of the country to let things cool off for sometime. the poor don't have a chance in the Philippine judiciary system that they resorts to asking for justice from the vigilantes. NPA are not usually considered terrorists by the Poor and Average Filipinos... But i can't say the same to muslims along the mindanao region. Muslims and their factions are totally different from the NPA groups. NPA incidentally means New People's Army.
