American Woman + Haitian Woman Die After Car Crashes Over Bridge
On the night of 31st March 2018, 2 women who were travelling in the Dominican Republic were killed when the car they were in, crashed through the railings of a bridge + into the water below. The deceased are 19 year old Phelyne Kitter from Haiti + 45 year old Carol Ann from Kentucky, USA. Carol Ann leaves behind 4 children + 4 grandchildren. Carol Ann's family set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds to bring her body back to the USA. They have, so far, raised just over half of the $10,000 target. Any money donated that is left over after funeral expenses will be donated to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation, as Carol Ann, herself, was diabetic.            |
