American Teenager Sets Sleeping Man on Fire
Ferndale- An 18-year old teenager was arrested for setting a sleeping man's trousers on fire. During a party with lots of alcohol, the youngster thought it would be funny to light up the man's pants. If convicted he faces a 10-year sentence. Teenagers often went to the 51-year old man's appartment to party and drink according to police. The man was admitted to hospital with 3rd degree burns.  · |

It sounds a little strange that a 51 year old guy would be opening his apartment up to underage kids to let them party. Maybe there is more to the story...

I think, perhaps, he provided alcohol, drugs and a place to party for the teens, in exchange for monetary and/or sexual favors. Somehow a disagreement erupted between him and one or more of the teens. My slant on it, anyway.
