Not trying to nit-pick here, but you say comparing child abuse to elderly abuse makes no sense, since you think both are horrendous? That sentence doesn't really make sense. I think both categories are equally as vulnerable. Just that the elderly are most of the time in constant pain, anyway -walking slow, all the joints aching. Can't imagine being 92 and beat so badly you die. Jus' sayin'. |

young or old being beaten up is wrong cause they have no or little defence but a young person can be (and usally is) emotional scarred for the rest of his life while most elderly people can cope more with the beating cause of a long life experience and can place things in perspective and of course having less years left.
