you say USA defeated germany, this wasn't the case at all, it was a joint effort between the UK, USA and other countries that Defeated Germany in WW1/WW2.

much like now it is a Joint effort in afghanistan between the USA and the UK Troops.

While I am very sensitive to the issue of 9/11 'gore' pics, I have to say it was only after I saw some of these pics that I was even MORE affected by the absolute horror of that day. The media has so sanitized that day, I think that people should be able to view these as long as they are warned they are graphic. We owe it to the memory of those innocent people to fully comprehend and empathize with their awful manner of death.
