On Monday, December 1, 2014, at about half past two in the afternoon, a cash-in-transit convoy carrying funds from Goiania to a bank in Itumbiara came under attack at kilometre 646 of BR-153, within the municipality of Morrinhos in Goias state, Brazil. A flatbed truck blocked the route ahead of the three armored cars, after which around ten to twelve masked assailants fired rifles and machine guns at them. A second truck then cut off the rear when the drivers attempted to back away, leaving the vehicles confined to roughly fifty metres of the highway.

Of the twelve guards, three were killed, while money was removed from two of the three armored cars. The attackers fled aboard two black pickups. At least two explosive devices remained on the roadway without detonating. State police said in July 2017 that they had identified the leader of the group responsible. On July 7 that year, he was killed during an exchange of gunfire with officers. The value of the stolen money has not been confirmed. By December 2020, six years had elapsed since the event.

Three strong cars from the Federal Transportes de Valores company were robbed in the late afternoon of Monday (01) on the BR-153 at the time of the municipality of Morrinhos in Goiás (128 km from Goiânia).

According to information, about 10 men heavily armed with rifles and machine guns closed the highway using truck drivers as barricades and in the center, closed by trucks were three strong cars.

Security guards inside the vehicles carrying valuables tried to react and there was an intense exchange of fire. In the confrontation three security guards died on the spot.

The strong cars were completely destroyed, as the authors used explosives to break into the safes of the trucks. The whole action lasted a few minutes and the perpetrators fled in a pickup truck and a passenger car.

Still according to information, everyone wore black clothes and were very well trained. The amount taken by the assailants has not yet been released.

Robberies of strong cars in this region have become routine. An aerial team of the Military Police was called, but as of this writing, no one has yet been arrested.

The three victims had yet to be identified. The traffic was slow until the beginning of the night, as the expert works on the site in search of clues.

I search for additional content with most of the threads that are uploaded (+ you don't see other members going apeshit over it), don't think you're anything special.

Honestly, as a casual observer, you're not wrong, it seems weirdly obsessive lol. it's a little odd that they can't seem to just add additional info to your posts in a normal way, without making some overly critical or rude remark- like, if you find additional photos and info, just add it without being a bitch, it's not hard. I wish we could just enjoy the posts without that bullshit. Just ignore it I guess and keep posting

NOTHING wrong with searching and adding additional information and photos, we all really appreciate that... but you really could do it without all the snark. It's getting a little weird, not gonna lie.
