2 Robbers Dead After Shootout with Police
On the morning of Wednesday (14) two bandits were killed during exchange of fire with the military police after a robbery of the post office. According to the PM, three policemen arrived at the post office and one of them came in, he was taken hostage by the robbers and his bulletproof vest and weapon was taken . The policemen who were outside took action and tried to take shelter, but one of the soldiers was shot in the leg. The robbers managed to take about R $ 13 thousand and fled in a car. A manhunt was organized which involved the Company of Special Operations (EEOC). Soon after the duo left the vehicle and went into a nearby forest to flee but the police organized a hunt and during another gunfight the criminals were shot. The duo was sent to the local hospital but did not survive there injuries and died. The military shot in the leg was taken to the Regional Hospital and will recover. The gun and the money that had been stolen were recovered by police and taken to the Civil Police.   ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Wait...is it my phone or does that look like a star shaped wound in the first photo? Could be my drunken eyeballs, but it kinda looks like an execution.

Looks like it to me too. Cops down there often resolve their criminal issues with great 'expediency'. |
