I read between 150-300 comments per day in both Spanish and Portuguese while looking for these images. What you just quoted is typical of at least 25% of them. Very very common response to tragedy in this culture.

from what i read, the first russian roulettes doesnt really have live ammo in it. they just make it look like there was one in it to make it more exciting. and every turn is expecting it everytime.
