Probably rats or a raven. They like the soft flesh. I had a friend that tried committing suicide. Shot himself in the chest w a 30.06 rifle. Tried hitting his heart but missed. Severed his spinal cord and left him paralyzed. The rats ended up eating his nose, eye lids,and lips off his face while he was still alive according to the way the blood pooled. Coroner stated he was still alive while the rats dined on him. He always had shitty luck. Oh he died just took him a little longer than normal.
