A 15-year-old girl, who was 8 months pregnant, was stabbed to death in the early hours of Monday morning (Oct. 30) in Guajará municipality. The victim was found inside the house without panties and with a knife tucked in the neck. The suspect is her companion, a 16-year-old teenager who has been apprehended by police.

According to the Military Police, the victim was identified as Vitória. According to MP, the girl was killed around 1:20 am in the residence where she lived with her friends, including the sister of the offender, in Guajará.

She was asleep when she was surprised by the 16-year-old. The two started a fight and he ended up committing the crime.

In testimony to the police, the suspect confessed everything and said that he killed his partner for denying the child's paternity. "She kept telling me I was the father of her son, but I was not sure," the boy told police.

He was captured earlier this morning at his mother's house, also in Guajará, after a witness claimed to have seen the boy leaving the victim's home shortly after the crime.
