Aren't you supposed to tie a rope around your body connected to the noose so that rope takes the blunt weight of your body, and not the rope around your neck?  |

When I was in junior high, a girl in my class hanged herself. The story going around was that she was playing "horse" with her little sister on the upper bunk of her bed, tied a rope around a post up there, the other end around her neck, and then fell off. I don't know if that was the truth; that's just what I heard.
