Armed gunmen ambushed a police convoy in Sinaloa, west Mexico, killing 12 police and one bystander.

According to reports, the police convoy was traveling on Friday from the city of Los Mochis when they were ambushed at a fake checkpoint set up near the town of Guasave. Two other agents had been wounded earlier that day in an attack in Los Mochis.

Bystander Alvaro Gallardo, a civilian employed at a nearby tortilla stall, was killed in the crossfire.

The agents were returning from escorting State Security Secretary Francisco Cordova Celaya. The secretary was unharmed, however, having returned to the city of Culiacan earlier that day via helicopter.

The governor of Sinaloa said that the killings were carried out because organized crime had found "no echo of complicity" among the state's security agencies.

It might not happen as often or as bad, but that shit happens in the states as well. People give cops bad names but what do you expect from days, weeks, months, years of this possibly happening weighing on their minds. Cops get paid shit and risk their lives everyday. I think anyone who hasn't been a cop and who says fuck cops or cops are horrible should try it, and see how it feels to risk your life everyday.

Wow, thanks for a great post. And the beat goes on. Another one bites the dust, and another ones gone, Let the bodies hit the floor.. or in this case the freakin road. Long ago I lost all sympathy with Mexico. It's their thing. I just watch.

Hey, I don't have to be a cop to know that these effing cops are corrupted. I lived in Butte county and Yuba county. They side with the pot growers and help them violate property owners rights and harrass legal owners and intimidate legal owners. So FUCK THE POLICE!!. If cartels are killing cops it's because cops betrayed the cartels. I would rather deal with an honest cartel dealer than a corrupt cop. I have had to listen to shit coming out of these stupid cops of the counties I mentioned and they are just bullies. They bullied my Grandparents and tried to defend the pot growers who wanted to take over thier property. Well, 'cause I was there it couldn't happen. We even banded together with other property owners and burned the house down of the freakin pot growers. The Pot growers couldn't prove a damn thing cause the whole community was in on it. They finally left the neighborhood. And the cops quit the harrassment as well. FUCK THE POLICE!!!

thank you for this post!! there is always shit talk about police officers of the law! TRY SERVING TIME FOR A DAY IN ANY DEPARTMENT!!!!..........you might change your mind!! get a call to a fatal 10-50......when you get there.....a mother and father are hurt bad, yet 2 young children that were not in seat belts were edjected from the car rolling! one is crushed past recognition, and the other is taking his last breath as you do EVERYTHING you can to save him and he dies in your arms!! all you can think of is "FUCK!! I HAVE KIDS! AND NOW I HAVE TO TELL THE PARENTNS THE AWFUL TRUTH!" it makes life more valuble for sure!! i dont post much at all, but to see some of the shit talk that goes on here and jokes and what not........IF SOME OF YOU FUCKERS ONLY KNEW!!....now mexico...yah thats a whole other story!
