Ministers of the State of Mexico , state police, elements of the National Guard , Navy and Sedena joined forces to kill a group of armed men who attacked them in the municipality of Texcaltitlán .

The confrontation occurred during the early morning and dawn of this Tuesday in the rural area of ​​the Mexican entity, where presumed members of the Michoacan Family surprised the men of the Attorney General's Office, who were going to mount an operation in the area.

The agency reported that 10 armed men were killed in the scuffle and seven more were arrested, four of whom were injured. On the part of the authorities, three ministerial officers were injured, of which 2 required their transfer to hospitals.



After the scuffle, 20 R-15-type long arms, short arms, useful cartridges, 5 vehicles, bulletproof vests, military-type uniforms, as well as communication equipment were seized.



A special FGJEM vehicle arrived at the site , to be able to transfer the detainees to the Public Ministry, where their legal situation will be defined.
