Re: Cloned Pig-China
What are the odds that someone, somewhere soon will go ahead and clone a human being, regardless of the ethics laws in their country? In the same vein as 'Why climb a mountain? Because it's there',you just know that human beings will attempt something simply because they can. Too bad the Cold War is 'officially' over because you just know they'd be doing this stuff alongside the dog's head on electrodes in the former USSR if the Party was footing the bill for it. |

Re: Cloned Pig-China
Uplifting story, plus I love the way Asian cultures speak. Strong-willed pig is such an awesome name. In reference to what Drusilla was saying, I'm sure it's already happened. China has little ethical concerns (I think it was this site where I saw that they were doing road construction and instead of putting up lights and signs, they just put up a concrete wall in the road,) and they are kicking our ass in the science fields. I would not be surprised if they used some of their best soldiers for cloning. It'd be useless since the DNA of the cloned organism is already as aged as the DNA of the original organism, so by the time their soldiers were in their 20's they'd be getting the diseases associated with mild age.
