You can sue anyone for anything...filing a lawsuit doesn't mean you're gonna win. In this case...it's a little odd. As she's getting searched it looks to me like she shifted her weight, lifted her foot, and intentionally (though rather meekly) kicked toward her left. The Deputies did exactly what I would expect them to do and restrained the female. What we do not know is what shenanigans she pulled at the scene of arrest, in the back of the police car as she was transported to the jail, or prior to her search. We also don't have audio with the video so we don't know what was said by anyone. There was nothing odd or out of police with the search or the restraint. Depending on her attitude and comments I'm not sure why they put her in a padded cell and stripped her naked. Usually a "strip search" and cavity search are reserved for parolees only or if officers have reasonable cause to suspect contraband is being hidden.

Now...what I suspect (and I have no inside info here...just years of experience) is that she struggled with Deputies during her being restrained, mouthed off vaugely about killing/hurting herself, and was put in the padded cell and stripped as a safety precaution. Now the issue of her being stripped with male Deputies present is a bit odd, but might be something as simple as no other female Deputies were working. Though the circumstances are strange, the Deputies seemed to behave professionally and the lady was not sexually assaulted. They did leave a blanket and if you watch the video a jail top and bottom were laying on the cell floor so I'm not sure this was as big a deal as she and her attorney are making it out to be. I think the investigation will show there was a reasonable explanation for everything that happened.

No agenda. But all you said about that video was just excuses for these cops. There was cops enough for arms and feet for this woman. Why you're so scared?

watching the video i would expect behaviour like that from police in places like kuwait, or afghanistan or some other shit hole where women are often subjected to humiliation and abuse at the hands of authority figures....thankfully this is an isolated incident

regardless of whether she lifted her leg to kick or whatever it's fairly obvious from the video that the officer to her right took major offence and went (fairly typically) overboard....no doubt mob mentality kicked in at that point and the rest of them chimped out too....
